Andrew has over seven years of experience in environmental consulting having worked in Canada in both field and project management roles. He has gained a good working knowledge of environmental consulting practices, and provincial regulations in Alberta and British Columbia.

Most recently, Andrew has been working as project manager in Canada specializing in the assessment and remediation of environmental risks and liabilities for a variety of sites including oil and gas production and processing facilities, pipelines, and pipeline releases, service stations, transportation facilities and commercial/industrial properties.

Environmental consulting

Andrew has extensive experience with a variety of inorganic and organic contaminants in a diverse range of ecological settings. He is familiar with a wide variety of contaminants including salts, petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated compounds, and metals in both soil and groundwater.

His environmental consulting specialties include:

  • coordinating and managing environmental site assessments and remediation projects including air sampling, environmental site sensitivity assessments, pre- and post-drilling assessments, environmental emergency response planning, and client support
  • undertaking permafrost geotechnical investigations, and aerial and ground reconnaissance
  • a working knowledge of assorted commercial and publicly available air dispersion modeling packages
