Online Programs (OHS)
Sustainability, through a licensing agreement with SafetyLine Institute, is now offering correspondence/mentoring programs for:
- Certificate IV in OHS
- Diploma of OHS
The program is an online based program containing Learner Guides which provide useful reading and corresponding activities and case studies. There are also reading materials for each element of the units of competency which correspond to the online knowledge test that are to be undertaken on completion of all activities and case studies.
Candidates will require computer/internet access and activities and case studies will need to be addressed via word document or hand written etc. All documentation resulting from the activities and case studies will need to be forwarded to the industry assessor along with copies of the knowledge test results.
These programs are self paced over a 12 month timeframe with study times up to you. Candidates will be provided with 15 hours of mentoring from an industry specialist.
Candidates wanting to undertake the Safety Line Programs can do so by visiting the SafetyLine website and enrolling into one of the qualifications, this process is free of charge.
Candidates have the option to select which training provider they would like to assess their work and have issue their Certificate or Statement of Attainment.
Each Training Provider will have set fees for assessing and issuance of Certificates or/Statement of Attainments and enrolment processes.
Candidates who enrol with Sustainability will not have to pay any fees until mentoring and assessing occurs. Candidates may pay per unit or for the full qualification.
The costs are as follows:
- Certificate IV in OHS $3000.00
- Diploma of OHS $3,500.00

Additional Info
Candidates who successfully complete the Diploma of OHS may be granted 120 credit points towards the Edith Cowan University (ECU) Bachelor of Health Science (OHS Major).
