Productivity Places Program

Sustainability is currently working with the Department of Training and Workforce Development to provide subsidised Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) accredited training.

Through the Productivity Places Program (PPP) Sustainability is able to offer significantly subsidised certified qualification for either:

  • Certificate IV in OHS = $369 enrolment
  • Diploma OHS = $359 enrolment

Both qualifications usually cost $3,000+ (depending on the learning program undertaken).

Sustainability is seeking expression of interest from people currently employed and working in the following regions.

  • Kimberley
  • Gascoyne
  • Goldfields / Esperance
  • Pilbara

There are limited places available in each region and all registrations need to be filled by 31 March 2010.

Learning Program Information

There are two learning programs available to successful PPP candidates:

1.  Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
  • Provides an alternative pathway towards a qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
  • It is an assessment process aimed at confirming and recognising competencies obtained outside of formal education and training.
2.  Online Correspondence through SafetyLine Institute
  • Online based.
  • Plus a self paced learner guides which contain all reading, learning activities and case studies.
  • Participants will require computer and internet access to complete this program.
