Sustainability, as the IESC, provided independent review, assessment, and comment on the TANAP Project’s compliance with EBRD standards for the purposes of Project financing. This included advising the EBRD on the adequacy of the Project’s assessments, management and mitigation controls and monitoring measures against EBRD standards.

Sustainability’s team of international and local specialists, undertook a site reconnaissance in December 2016, inspecting the pipeline at key locations. Sustainability’s Due Diligence Report and associated Environmental and Social Action Plan were delivered to the satisfaction of the EBRD in June 2017.

Sustainability has, since the initial due diligence, conducted further on-site monitoring of the TANAP Project in September 2017 and June and October 2018 as part of the ongoing contract for monitoring of the Project during the construction phase.
