Sustainability sent three of our team members to Houston last week, to support a valued Client in their annual planning and strategies – in particular opportunities to expand HSEQ services in the APAC region. Jaimie Redding, Maria Acevedo Bellon and Candice Koblun were delighted to provide their support during these planning sessions.
Jaimie is an experienced Senior OHS advisor and accredited OHS auditor with over 15 years’ experience in resource projects. She provides OHS management system consulting, specialising in Contractor Management programs. Jaimie excels at working with teams to implement and operate OHS systems within their projects. She has very good engagement skills to assist Project Managers and Supervisors to engage personnel and report to clients.
Maria is an Industrial Engineer and safety specialist with over 8 years of experience in the high-risk electrical industry, oil exploration projects, in addition to performing hazard identification and contractor compliance assessments to ensure the safety of people, the environment and facilities. Known for her ability to create a trusting relationship with clients and team members, Maria is committed to HSEQ consulting practices that find alignment between HSEQ system documentation, businesses scope of works and current frameworks.
Candice has been working with Sustainability since 2019, first managing the operations of the Mongolia office and recently moving into the International Operations Manager role. She has key experience in providing support and management of environmental, social and community projects for both national clients and international lenders and clients.
The Sustainability team took this opportunity to also include some team building with a visit to the Space Center Houston. During a tour of the NASA Astronaut Training Facility there were discussions of what it would be like to be a safety advisor for NASA and do workplace inspections … a most enjoyable trip for our team!
