Sustainability is proud to announce the appointment of Keith Counihan as the CEO of Sustainability, across all our operations and business units, globally.
Keith holds a Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town and is currently a MBA candidate with a focus on Energy Optimization and Sustainability. Keith has been with Sustainability for 4 years, starting as the Project Manager of our Safety Leadership coaching programs in Africa and progressed rapidly to Director of our African operations.
Keith has expanded Sustainability’s footprint and successfully opened two businesses in RSA and DRC that complement our existing businesses in Australia, Singapore, Mongolia and most recently, Indonesia. Keith has over 15 years of experience in consulting and operational roles across a variety of civils, mining and quarrying operations throughout Africa. His appointment is testament to Sustainability’s 30% year on year growth over the last 4 years.
Sustainability Director, Heath Thorpe, had this to say: ‘Keith has brought a level of energy and enthusiasm to the executive team that Tony and I greatly value. We are excited to see where Keith’s leadership will take Sustainability globally this year and beyond.’
