8. The Opportunity We are seeking qualified Health, Safety and
Environment (HSE) Advisors based in Perth for
short to medium term assignments to support our
mining clients in strengthening safety leadership and
operational excellence on site.
The ideal candidate brings extensive mining or heavy-
industry experience, practical field insight, and a
strong “people-first” mindset.
9. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all safety related duties on site
    including pre-starts, field verifications,
    documentation, incidents and inspections.
  • Support implementation of HSE management
    systems and critical risk programs within mining
    operations.
  • Facilitate leadership conversations, toolbox
    sessions, learning reviews and field
    engagement sessions.
  • Provide on-site coaching and mentoring to
    frontline and supervisory personnel, helping to
    drive safe behaviours and leadership.
  • Monitor field performance and guide
    improvement in hazard identification, reporting,
    verification and follow-through practices.
10. Requirements
  • +5 years’ experience in the mining or heavy
    industry sector, with substantial HSE
    leadership, coaching or mentoring experience
  • Demonstrated background in Health, Safety & Environment with a practice, field-oriented
    mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and
    cross-cultural engagement skills; able to work
    effectively with diverse workforces.
  • Willingness to work on remote or rotational
    rosters as required.
  • Obtained BSB41419 – Certificate IV in Work
    Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the
    construction industry (White Card)
  • Driver’s license
